Connectivity in
Barbados

Barbados has Internet coverage across the whole island

“From bus stop, to rum stop” Barbados has Internet coverage across the whole island.

Being connected is of the utmost importance, therefore you will find that most hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and coffee shops offer free WiFi access for customers.

For your office or home there are two major Internet and communication service providers in Barbados; Flow and Digicel.

Digicel boasts of the latest and most powerful fibre optic technology in the world. Currently they have five different Internet tariffs to choose from; Fibre 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 with 50 Mbps to 1000 Mbps download speeds and 25 Mbps to 500 Mbps upload speeds. For normal business use, 50 Mbps is ideal. For high traffic video streaming and gaming, 250 Mbps is suitable.

Flow promises “fast, reliable and hassle-free surfing, sharing and streaming across all your devices at blazing fast speeds.” You can choose from four different tariffs; Fibre Essential 60, Fibre Plus 120, Superfast Fibre Ultra 600 and Superfast Giga 1000, which range from 60 Mbps to 1000 Mbps download speeds and 20 Mbps to 500 Mbps upload speeds as of September 2020.

When it comes to mobile device connection, both Flow and Digicel offer pre-paid combo or data-only plans or post-paid plan that might suit your needs better.

Whichever provider you choose to do business with, you can trust that your connection will be ultra fast and super reliable.
